The latest opening of Basil Kamir is still able to retain charme and authenticity. The story of Basil is the one of a guy who wanted to open a record shop in rue Moulin de la Vierge (back in the day when he was a music journalist and friend with Richard Branson) but was forced to change the business to its original bakery purpose as the building was listed. The first of a handful of great bakeries that are producing every day bread and pastries according to the traditional recipes. This is his first bistro. Lovely art deco room with bakery of course.
