PIGNON TOKYO

16-3 Kamiyamacho, Shibuya, Tokyo 150-0047, Japan
We used to live 50 m from this cozy French inspired restaurant. Love the atmosphere, the food and the wine! Perfect for a Friday night date just around the corner from the noisiest parts of shibuya. Could die for their Moroccan salad!

Chef Rimpei Yoshikawa comes from a family of restaurateurs, his aunt owns a traditional Japanese place and his cousin runs an Italian restaurant. He places his focus on French food and even the name, Pignon, comes after his favourite French movie “Le Diner De Cons”. He drives a Citroen 2cv and he found his true calling when working in Bordeaux.
