STUREHOF STOCKHOLM

Sturegallerian, Stureplan 2, 114 46 Stockholm, Sweden
A classic, traditional Swedish Brasserie. They also have an oyster bar and a food market connected to the restaurant. Try the dish called ‘5 assietter’, it’s a serving of five Swedish tapas. Have it with beer and the house aquavit. Good for lunch.

This appears to be the very first seafood restaurant of Stockholm. Opened by Ernst Marcus in 1897 with the name of Malta and changed it to the actual one in 1905. On the menu you can still find some of the original dishes (like the Bouillabaisse for example). It is not a place for rushing, come here and enjoy a bottle of wine with your meal. Relax and look at the city passing by if it happens to be summer and you are sitting outside.
