BRASSERIE OF LIGHT LONDON

Selfridges, 400 Oxford St, Marylebone, London W1A 1AB, United Kingdom
The Damien Hirst giant sparkly horse is pretty ott. The blackened cod was amazing. If you like conceptual go for dessert. Situated in Selfridges (you wouldn’t know if you came in from the Oxford St entrance) I would drop in again pre or post shopping with the girls for a “sex in the city” moment.

It may be in Selfridges but, once you enter, the department store feels a galaxy away. There is a lot that will catch your eye, but probably the 24ft crystal encrusted Pegasus statue by Damien Hirst will be the first thing that does. Seat at the bar counter to sip cocktails or take a table and enjoy the elegant dishes and the inventive desserts. The mind behind this is the one of Richard Caring, the one of Sexy Fish and The Ivy to name a few.
