The entry is through a door with no sign. You will need to ring a doorbell to be let in, which will make you feel like you are in on a big secret, and you kind of are. The restaurant, which is set in what used to be a victorian school’s bike shed, is well known but not in a touristy way. The food cooked by head chef Anna Tobia (formerly at River Café) will be appreciated whilst sitting in a room populated, mainly, by Shoreditch’s creative types. The perfect east London lunch break.
