I had one of the most delicious innovative interesting joyful meals of my life here. Mateo is a true talent. He's also truly passionate about his astonishing collection of mezcals and tequilas. I got a real eduction dining here. And on a side note: he makes his own hot sauces which you can purchase and they're all incredible. I filled my suitcase.

Chef Mateo Granados was born in the Yucatan province of Mexico, you can see and taste that in his dishes, however he fuses his own traditions with local ingredients and a little pinch of French je ne sais quoi. He is in high demand as a caterer too and when he was at the farmer’s market people were going crazy for his tamales. The restaurants is cosy and homely, and it reflects perfectly the food that Mateo cooks.
