A little gem of a restaurant serving Japanese small dishes. Pickles, Beef tatami and hand rolled noodles with vegetable tempura served by the sweetest staff at either the small tables or at the bar. Perfect for a mid week dinner.

Maiko Kyogoku is Japanese-American, born in New York by Japanese parents. Before becoming a restaurateur she worked with Takashi Murakami. Both her cultural duality and her proximity to the world of art are reflected in her food and in the venue. Japanese food inspired by her mothers recipes but with accents of multi-cultural New York.
