Carlo e Camilla was created by Carlo Cracco (Michelin starred chef and judge at Masterchef Italia) and Tanja Solci (art director and owner of the location). The sawmill was purchased in 1929 by Tanja’s grandparents and was turned into this stunning restaurant in the winter of 2014. The space did not lend itself to small tables, therefore Tanja created two long communal white tables. The tables were made on the premise and are set to form a cross. The tableware is beautiful mismatched porcelain by Richard Ginori and the room takes a mysterious feel at night when lit by the crystal chandeliers.
