The venue is located in the Piazza Vittorio neighborhood, even though they don’t accept reservations you will hardly have to wait to sit down unless it’s the weekend. The service is friendly, helpful and they can speak Italian and English as well as Mandarin. Excellent selection of food. Fairly cheap.

Sonia is a celebrity in Italy. Her food may be good (the chef is her brother in law and he cooks the food of Beijing) but her personality is also what attracts the crowds of all sorts of people. Politicians, footballers, tv chefs, singers and locals all mix together in the most famous Chinese restaurant of the peninsula.
