VEFA BOZACISI ISTANBUL

Mollahüsrev, Vefa Cd. No:66, 34134 Fatih Istanbul, Turkey
Step back in time, circa 1876, to “taste” something unique. Perfect afternoon stop-by for an unusual drink called “boza” topped with “leblebi”. The venue kept its original fixtures and remarkable furnitures. Friendly local vibe make you feel you want to come back again.

Hacı Sadık Bey created this place in 1876 and his great-grandkids are still running it today. He came from Albania in 1870 and perfected the art of making Boza (a fermented non alcoholic drink) before opening this venue where it would be produced and sold. They now have big facilities outside of Istanbul for the production side of things and mastered the art of balsamic vinegar too. You must stop by for a sip of history.
